My current Item Level is 15441 but I seem to keep up fairly well with some 16k + dps classes (I can't tell you why because I don't know lol)
With bondings I now have 52.5% deflect chance and 12.6% life steal (companion doesn't have any life steal on it) (Too much deflect and Shadow Clad wont proc)
With the combination of pets, feats and boons I am at 135.5% crit severity
Class Features - Aspect of the pack - permanent combat advantage for you and your party and Seekers Vengeance - more damage when you are behind the target (tried using serpents instead of Seekers but saw a big dps drop)
Dailies - Slashers Mark and Seismic Shot the latter can be swapped out for Disruptive Shot where appropriate so you want 4 points in all 3 ideally
Encounters
Bear Trap/Ambush - Bear Trap is an odd duck of a spell, it doesn't appear to do a great deal of damage or much else either (too me anyway) but I spam it as part of my rotation, usually just in front a a mob if they are moving or directly under a boss, Assault however I use to stealth behind the mobs and then start to do some serious damage to them in addition because of the stealth it can be used as a life saver
Gushing Wound/Longstrider Shot - Single Target - A really nasty bleed (damage over time) and Longstriders is a very good party buff if your are far enough away from the target for that element of it too proc.
Plant Growth/Cordon of Arrows - AOE - Both do a tone of damage and can keep you alive against trash mobs
At Wills
Hunter's Teamwork/Careful Attack - Marks the target and when the target dies it drops supplies giving back a small amount of AP, stamina and HP, Careful Attack in essence reduces the enemies defences to your allies (and from what I can tell for me as well), less defences means target takes more damage from all sources.
Split Shot/Split Strike - A spay of arrows that does more damage the more you focus (truth be told I don't rate it much but its melee counterpart Split Strike you will use this constantly, I usually just hold down my left mouse button and rotate my mouse accordingly so it acts like as aoe even though technically it isn't.
Offence Slots - 3 Brutals and 4 Azures
Defence Slots
On the character I have all Demonics which are Hit Points/Deflection/Life Steal, deflect is our friend and we can get loads of it. I used to slot silveries but due to the way shadowclad works and the way it is required to proc I had over-stacked my deflect in addition with the boons we do damage when we deflect so more damage for free. On a side note I use Guild HP boon almost all the time which puts me up to 190K HP, I only switch the the Guild Life Steal Boon if I am with a poor group and I am not receiving heals.
Armour enchant I use a Transcendent Shadow clad which I cannot recommend enough
Weapon Enchant - I use a Transcendent Lightning enchant which works fantastic. I have used a Transcendent Flaming on my previous Stormwarden build but it did not compete on this build
Weapons I currently have are the Abolith Set from river district
Neck – I use Baphomet’s Infernal Talisman – Good stats for us – Power, Crit and Deflection Waist – Greater Twined Rope of Dexterity - Dexterity gives us deflection, damage bonus and AOE resist
Artifacts – doesn’t get any cheaper than this, three of them are free if you have these classes and all have the stats we want Sigil of the hunter / Sigil of the Rogue / Soulsight Crystal / Lantern of Revelation (I swapped out my Sigil of the Scourge for the Soulsight Crystal)
Companions
(currently running 3 x rank 13 bondings) In a nut shell you need active companions that increase your DPS and in an ideal world keep you alive and ideally ones that give you a % increase over a basic stat increase e.g 2% crit v’s 120 crit.
Shadow Demon Legendary – 3 offence - My Summoned companion. No Idea why I do so much damage with this guy but I do more with this guy than I do with a pet with 3 offence slots ie phase spider, his active bonus is nothing to write home about but bonding’s proc as soon as you enter combat and he doesn’t die very often, especially for a melee companion.
Wild Hunt rider – Legendary – Active bonus 2% chance to increase damage by 10% for 5 seconds - we hit very fast on this class so this procs a lot more than you may expect.
Energon – Epic - 5% Max HP - This plus the demonics in defence plus a pally tank is more power for you
Will-O'-Wisp Epic- 25% control resist and 15% control Bonus
Remorhaz - Epic - when you attack your opponent has a 5% chance to combust doing fire damage each second for 5 seconds (i tried removing this pet as I thought he was no longer up to the task in end game content, suffice to say I was wrong and I put him back on pretty quickly)
Full list of companions and their abilities listed here http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Companion Companion Gear DO NOT USE SUDDEN & RISING RINGS they no longer work with pets.
Avenger gear if you have it already is great as is the girdle of the striker and the loyal however if you like I do not own it and don’t have a million AD lying around to buy each piece then make the personalised waist and neck of recovery or armour pen. the extra recovery is beneficial to us for our encounters and dailies but in light of recent changes we need more armour pen as well. I current use a +4 Fierce belt (offensive), a +3 Bold Necklace (offensive) and a +4 sturdy swordknot (defensive) IG Gold is the only other place to get good companion gear the +4's are either 2 offence or 2 defence and the +5's are either one offence and one overload or one defence and one overload. The +3's are available on AH and are either 1 x offence or defence. With the IG I Highly recommend you get 1 piece of equipment with 2 defence slots for the extra deflection, with bondings I aim to get upto 100% deflect eventually (im around 75% atm)
Companion Enchants
Offence – I run 2 demonic's, one at rank 11 and the other is rank 12 plus one Azure rank 12 - The demonic's give me a nice chunk of armour pen without sacrificing my other stats. Currently have 86% armour pen so I am just over the required amount.
Defence – All Silvery
Mounts
Insignia
I have a bit of a mix here, high focus on critical strike (Skill), some power (dominance), armour pen (aggression) and recovery/control bonus (mastery) also have some (evasion) for deflect.
