The Siege of Neverwinter

With the Siege upon us again, I have noticed the same question of "Where do I find the guards in the Stronghold?" popping up in chat windows over and over, so rather than try to explain it every time, I have made these maps for you.

The Master of Coin will give a daily quest during the Siege called "Send Aid to Neverwinter". It takes only minutes to do the quest, and rewards 5 Defense Supplies so it's a quick and easy way to collect these. It can also be done on multiple toons if you wish as the Defense Supplies are not bound so you can send them all to one character if you are saving up for something. (Don't forget to do the profession every day as well to get even more).

There are only 2 routes to this quest and it is very easy to work out which one you have once you have picked up the quest. Look from the Master of Coin back towards the SH entrance and you will see one of the Guards leaning against the wall (he is marked as no.2 on the map above). If he has an icon over his head so you can speak to him, then you have the quest marked in red circles numbered 1 - 5. If he doesn't have the icon, then you have the quest marked with green circles from A - E. I have listed the Guards in the order that I always talk to them as it ends up back at the Master of Coin to hand the quest in, but obviously, you don't have to do them in the same order but it makes it easier to explain the route this way.

As an added bonus, if you are finding my instructions confusing, I have linked a picture of the Guard in position which you can access just by clicking on the circle on the map - Insomnia may be a pain, but at least it gives me time to be creative :)

Red Circles Route 1 - 5
From the Master of Coin, ride across the SH passing the Generalist shop to arrive at the side exit of the SH. Go outside and you will find Guard No.1 there.
Ride back to Guard No.2 where you started and talk to him (if you haven't done so already).
Go up the stairs and turn to your left when you get to the top of them and you will find Guard No.3 lurking in the corner.
Continue on past him, following the pathway, through the plant covered corridor with a group of NPC's talking. At the end of that corridor, you will see Guard No.4.
Once you have spoken to him, go down the stairs and left so that you are behind the Outfitters shop that sells SH gear and Guard No.5 is there. Turn around and go back to the Master of Coin to hand in the quest and you're done.

Green Circles Route A - E
Grab the quest and head towards the Gemmongers shop and training dummies. You will see Guard A on the left hand side by the wall of the SH.
Go up the stairs leading towards the rear exit of the SH and you will see Guard B at the entrance to the corridor.
Carry on through this corridor ending up outside the SH and Guard C is on the right.
Return to the SH through the corridor and keep left, down the stairs, across the side exit and turn hard left to go up some more stairs where you will find Guard D.
Follow the upstairs pathway to the end, go down the stairs, across the main entrance of the SH and back up the stairs opposite. Turn right to the seating area with all the NPC's and the final Guard E is leaning on the wall on the right. After you have spoken to him, just jump over the side near the crystal ball and you will land pretty much right by the Master of Coin to hand in.
